CAPE TOWN-Zimbabwean winger Kudakwashe Mahachi has secured his move to Mamelodi Sundowns, although he can only join the club in June.

Mahachi has agreed to join Sundowns on a five-year deal before the start of the 2014/15 campaign, as the Brazilians have exhausted their foreign quota for this season.
In the meantime, Mahachi – who belongs to his hometown club Bantu Rovers, who play in Zimbabwe’s second tier league – will be loaned to popular Bulawayo giants Highlanders on a deal that will run until he links up with Sundowns in June.
Bantu Rovers, who had loaned Mahachi to Chicken Inn during the past season, are owned by Methembe Ndlovu, a former Highlanders and Zimbabwe national team midfielder.
However, the emergence of interest from French Ligue 1 club Monaco is threatening to shake up the deal for the exciting left-footer.
KickOff.com knows for a fact that representatives from Monaco arrived in Cape Town – where the Warriors are staying for Chan – with a contract to take him straight to France without having to put him through trials first.
