The game show will have an all-star line-up featuring Ba-Shupi, Tom Brickhill, Q The Boss, Michael K, Blackpearl and will be hosted by one of Zimbabwe’s leading creative minds, Comrade Fatso.

“This lineup can best be described as two musicians, three comics and a poet with Ba Shupi having a string of radio hits, transforming his star into socialite status, Tom Brickhill is a guitarist for Mbira Punk Rock Band Chikwata 263 and is famous for his punchline heyaheya in the Sulumani Chimbetu style,” said Magamba Network Media Officer, Tafadzwa Sharaunga.

The two comics Michael K and Q The Boss have hit comedy shows Zambezi News TV and ZBC TV’s Ma1 respectively and the cherry on top will be one of Zimbabwe’s most gifted female poets Black Pearl, AKA Wadzanai Chiuriri, who has performed on almost every available spoken word platform locally and is now seasoned in her art form.

Sharaunga said these quick-witted individuals would provide the audience with an opportunity to fill the indoor venue with rapturous laughter and astonishment with the quirkiest humour found nowhere else in Zimbabwe.

Sharaunga added that the game show players would be split into two teams and each would have a team captain, thus providing interesting power dynamics to add to the fun.

The Game show is in its second edition and has had success with the initial Bang Bang Comedy Game Show getting sold out late last year. The Bang Bang Game Show will be brought to the local audiences by Magamba Network, the organisation that brings you programmes such as Shoko Festival Comedy Night and Zambezi News.
