Mutangaz Hide Out

Tomorrow superstar Oliver Mtukudzi shares the stage with sungura godfather Nicholas “Madzibaba” Zakaria at a popular hangout in Ruwa. The two are also set to perform at Mutangaz Entertainment Spot in Highfield, Nora (Mutare Road) and Masvingo Road in the near future.

Red Fox Hotel

Tonight Red Fox hosts the Summer Chill Out with Mic Inity and Nadine Brown backed by the Red Radicals Band. The show will also feature rising Mbare chanter Soul Jah Love. Tomorrow the venue hosts the Saturday Diamond Party. DJs on rotation are DJ Skizzy, Yk and a guest DJ from Canada. Dancehall Queen runs on Sunday to close down the weekend.

7 Arts Theatre

7 Arts Theatre explodes tomorrow with a phenomenal clash among dancehall and hip-hop artistes who include Winky D, Sniper Storm, Guspy Warrior, Yoz, Nox, Trevor Dongo and Ba Shupi, among many others.

New Life Nite Club

Sungura ace Alick Macheso returns to New Life Nite Club tonight. The giant venue has often broken many artistes’ hearts when they perform owing to its intimidating size that is difficult to fill.

Jazz 105

Extra Kwazvose, arguably the most formidable sungura outfit currently, returns to Jazz 105 tonight. They are supported by crooner David Hondoyedzomba. Tomorrow DJ Kaycee entertains revellers before a resident DJ takes over for the After Bhora Party on Sunday.

Basement Night Club

Today Redemption Sounds warm the venue with roots, rockers reggae. Upcoming reggae artiste Soul Jah Love will perform at the club tomorrow night. DJ Zhaks and Mai Chi will be on the decks at the mad Sunday.

Jubilee Centre

The Miss Heritage World pageant that was cancelled last week will now be held tonight at Jubilee Centre in Milton Park. Artistes to perform at the event include Ba Shupi, Trevor Dongo, Ritchie Orange and HD Dance Crew among others.

City Sports Bar

South Africa-based Nox will perform at his welcome party at City Sports Bar tonight. He performs with Trevor Dongo and Maskiri. Chibuku Stadium, Chitungwiza

Veteran musicians Machanic Manyeruke and Nicholas Madzibaba Zakaria share the stage tomorrow at a family fun day gig in the satellite town of Chitungwiza. Unit O Pre-school, Chitungwiza

Lionheart Entertainment presents Passa Passa of the Year Party, where the late Madzibaba Nzira’s son Dombo T, Blaka and Lil Clint among others will perform. On the turntables DJ Mugo, Judgement Vybez, Macky Dee and Junior Oxo take turns to entertain the merrymakers.

Tippaz Nite Club, Shamva

Alick Macheso travels to his home province Mashonaland Central for a show at Tippaz Nite Club in Shamva tomorrow. He rounds up the weekend with a family show at Extra Mile Leisure Spot on Sunday.

Nyaradzai Hall, Zvishavane

Sulumani Chimbetu travels to Zvishavane for a rare fete with rising dancehall musician Killer T tomorrow. He then travels to Kwekwe for a show at Jessie Gardens on Sunday.

Takarangana Night Club, Gweru

Peter “Igwe” Moyo will take his act to Takarangana Night Club in Gweru today and travel to Masvingo for a show at Ritz on Saturday before wrapping the weekend with a show at Grand Hotel in Shurugwi.
