The show comes hard on the heels of the Zahara show scheduled for this Friday.

Organised by Xtra Time Entertainment, the show will be the group’s third time in Zimbabwe after having performed in September 2011 before making another appearance early in 2012.

Tonderai Mwaita of Xtra Time Entertainment told NewsDay yesterday would also be a promotion of their latest album Welcome Aboard.

“Liquideep has a new album titled Welcome Aboard and we have taken that title to be our theme for their one legged tour,” Mwaita said.

“They are coming with a full band and will be supported by an array of artistes from dancehall to hip hop.”

He said some of the artistes to perform include Guspy Warrior, Shinsoman, Dhadza D, Killer T, Smylie, DJ Naida, Renailo, Taz, MMT, Simba Tags, Mudiwa and Ammara Brown.

On the turntables will be DJs Nosh and Storm alternating at intervals.

Mwaita said they were inspired by their recent success of hosting the first Rainbow Towers Comedy Fest at the HICC on November 28. He said they remain inspired by festivals like Hifa and Shoko who bring together different art genres.

“We hope to bring together different genres of music house, afro pop, zim dancehall and Zim hip hop, thereby, catering for fans from across the music divide,” he said.
