The development will see 100 performances being done in Harare, 100 in Bulawayo, 50 in Gweru and the remaining 50 in Mutare.

Speaking to NewsDay yesterday, Muzondo said he has had to split his team to make sure they deliver as per demand.

“We are thrilled to offer your organisation free performances of Hanya Nani? 1 at workplaces from November 18 to December 13 courtesy of PSI Zimbabwe,” Muzondo said.

“Corporates should take advantage of this opportunity to amplify their Aids and Wellness at the Workplace Awareness with a performance of a play that has been received overwhelmingly in workplaces and helped CBZ win the ZNCC Business Award — Social Corporate Responsibility/HIV and Aids this year.”

Muzondo said this would be a unique opportunity for companies to achieve their statutory obligations and social corporate responsibility in a creative and innovative way.

“We require a minimum of 100 people per session to be able to carry out a performance and to make sure we are able to meet the deadline we have created three different teams to concentrate on different cities,” Muzondo said.

“We are happy for the boost that PSI Zimbabwe has given to our workplace theatre project which we started off from humble beginnings, but has become a self-sustaining project.”

The teams are: Mandla Moyo, Zenzo Nyathi and James Mukwindidza (Bulawayo), Everson Ndlovu, Silvanos Mudzvova, Steward Sakarombe (Mutare and Gweru), Eddington Hatitongwe, Derek Nziyakwi, Livius Chitsungo (Harare).

Muzondo said there would also be awards for top three workplaces with the highest number of attendants during a session and promotional prizes for individuals in attendance.

“The workplace is an important focus and arena for HIV and Aids awareness programmes because it offers access to an important population which is at risk of HIV infection and/or affection,” he said.
