HARARE regional magistrate Fadzai Mthombeni is today expected to give her verdict in the case involving House of Manna Global Ministries leader Tizora Kaitano who is being charged for sexually molesting a male church member.

The defence closed its case last Thursday, with Kaitano insisting that the allegations of aggravated indecent assault levelled against him were false and part of persecution targeted at his ministry.

The court heard during trial that Kaitano (40) invited the 24–year–old complainant to his house in Mufakose for prayer around 8:30pm on September 28 this year.

Led by prosecutor Tungamirai Muganhiri, the complainant alleged that upon his arrival, Kaitano started sprinkling water mixed with salt in the house before smearing him with some oil.

The complainant said after the “rituals” he started feeling feverish and felt immobilised and was, therefore, unable to fight off the pastor who allegedly suckled his private parts. In the process, Kaitano allegedly started developing breasts.

He said the pastor then sat on him in such a way that his manhood slid into his backside. “When I took out my manhood, he started sucking it again until I ejaculated and he swallowed the semen which I released in his mouth,” the complainant told the court.

When he regained his strength, Kaitano then allegedly released him.

He said the following day, he felt pain on his private parts and discovered that he was still producing blood-stained semen.

“I went back to his house and explained what was happening to me. He said he was going to give me some water which I should use to bath while standing by the door at home during the night and said I should bring the water back to him,” he said.

He said he refused to comply, but went to inform his friend about the abuse and the matter was reported to the police.

Meanwhile, an Epworth man who forced his manhood into a four–year–old girl’s mouth was last Friday hauled before the court facing an aggravated indecent assault charge. Harare magistrate Donald Ndirowei remanded him in custody to November 19.

Prosecutor Sharon Mashavira told the court that on November 5 this year, the complainant was at Overspill Flea Market playing while her mother was busy selling her wares with the accused also trading his merchandise nearby.

One of the female traders allegedly saw the accused forcing the complainant to suckle his manhood. It is alleged the toddler confirmed the incident, leading to the suspect’s arrest.
