The musician, who became popular early this year with his debut album, One Love Zimbabwe is a dedicated Zanu PF youth supporter who promotes music by Zimbabwean youths to support indigenisation, empowerment and employment for a better future.

His latest 12-track compilation includes songs like Congratulations, Lets Save the Nation, Zimbabwe and Pasi nemaSanctions whose videos are yet to be released.

The title Congratulations is already receiving fair airplay on local radio stations.

“The main aim is to encourage nation-building and support for our God-given leaders to fight against sanctions, promote unity and encourage citizens to stand in support of our leader,” he said.

Commander King Des added that he was basically encouraging people to acknowledge that it was everyone’s role to make the country a better place to live.

“It is no longer time to brag about which political party one was affiliated to, whether Zanu PF, MDC-T, or MDC. People need to be encouraged that only peace will bring restoration and development to Zimbabwe,” Des said.

The musician derives inspiration from Comrade Chinx, Oliver Mtukudzi and Thomas Mapfumo although his genre tends to sound more like Mapfumo’s Chimurenga music.
