After their much-anticipated family show with Oliver Mtukudzi was cancelled at the last minute because of bad weather earlier this month, the Charambas return to the same venue with high hopes for a successful show.

They are billed to share the stage with fellow gospel artistes Mathius Mhere, Worship Addicts and Thembalami who has just returned home from his United Kingdom tour.

“We are happy to be back for a performance at the same venue and we are promising our fans nothing, but the best,” said Charles Charamba.

Mhere, who is still basking in the glory of the successful launch of his third album Nguva YeNyasha, also promised a sterling performance at the show.

The young gospel musician said it was always an honour to share the stage with the Charambas who are his mentors, thus he was urging fans to come in their numbers.

“Those that have not managed to get a feel of my new album should just come to the show as I will be performing all the new songs,” he said.

What remains to be seen is whether they will not suffer a natural bashing from the rains as has been the case with open air shows at this time of the year.
