As part of the fun, the tour will culminate in a mock wedding at City Sports Bar where girls from Apama Styles Dance Group will be the bride’s maids.
The event at City Sports Bar will also see Masvinu and the first and second runners-up getting their prizes.
Speaking to NewsDay this week, David “Apama” Machowa, organiser of the Mr Ugly competition said his group was busy rehearsing for the event.
“We have spoken to the sponsors and they say prizes are ready and we are now busy with the final touches,” Apama said.
“Initially, one of the sponsors had intended to give grocery vouchers, but has now resorted to buying the groceries to make sure that there is little risk that groceries do not reach the intended people.”
Edgar Mukunyadze, Lifel Investments sales manager, who donated the majority of the prizes said they would be ready with the awards on the day.
