MARONDERA- A 19-year-old maid who allegedly forced her employer’s nine- year-old son to be intimate with her on different occasions for a month has appeared in court.

The maid, whose name cannot be published in order to protect the identity of the victim, however, denied the charges of aggravated indecent assault when she appeared before Marondera Magistrate Clever Tsikwa last Thursday. Tsikwa postponed the matter to October 15 for judgment.
Prosecutor Memory Mandudzo told the court that on an unknown date, but sometime in June this year, the suspect allegedly enticed the complainant into the dining room where she later sexually abused him. The court heard that she did this act on several occasions each time the minor’s parents were away.
The matter only came to light when the complainant’s father arrived home unexpectedly and found the suspect dancing seductively while holding his son’s waist.
He then interrogated his son who exposed the alleged abuse. The matter was reported to Mahusekwa Police Station, leading to the suspect’s arrest.
