Former Dynamos striker Allen Tavarwisa had given the home side an early lead in the match, poking home just after four minutes into the game, but Marime made sure the spoils are shared when he brought down a high ball beautifully using his chest before releasing a volley from outside the box that beat Fidias Chifamba.

Yesterday’s draw was Monoz’s first point in six matches as the 2009 league champions lie third from the bottom of the log with 23 points while Tripple B is a rung below with 19 points.

Both sides walked away with a point, but on the balance of play, Monomotapa deserved more as they completely dominated the match and created better chances especially in the second half. However, the nearest the Biggie Zuze coached side came in scoring a second goal was when Ronald Chitiyo and Godknows Murwira rattled the woodwork midway through the second half.

Tripple B finished the match with 10-men after striker Phillip Makanje was shown a second yellow card in the 89th minute for trying to score using his hand.
