The colourful ceremony which was running under the theme, “It’s all about Jesus” was graced by celebrated gospel artistes, who included Stanley “Pastor G” Gwanzura and Mathias Mhere, who also went on to put a sterling performance at the event.

Speaking after the launch, the group’s chief executive officer, Joseph Madziyire, said he was overwhelmed by the success of the project.

“We are happy and grateful to the Almighty about our project and all the support from various stakeholders who have partnered us,” Madziyire said. Speaking at the same occasion, Onismor Sasa warned the Christian community against the spirit of pride.

“For you to continue shining with your good work, you have to gather against pride. I have seen so many artistes and so many talented people falling because they failed to speak God at the centre of what they were doing.

“So guard against pride because pride demotes any person who is called and anointed by God,” Sasa said.

He added that the ZimPraise members must keep focused and continue with their good work as they can receive a lot of criticism as they trigger changes in many people’s lives through music.
