Team manager Patrick Mutesva said the team would start training this morning.

“We have not received any reports of injured players for those who played for their respective clubs at the weekend. So we are expecting all players in camp. Training will start in the morning at Gwanzura. As for Willard Katsande, I understand communication from Zifa to his club Kaizer Chiefs has been done and by tomorrow I should be in a position to tell when he will be with us in camp,” Mutesva said.

Kaizer Chiefs anchorman Katsande overlooked by previous coach Klaus Dieter Pagels is the only foreign based player who has been called up in the squad to face Mozambique.

Warriors coach Ian Gorowa has kept faith in his home based players who defeated old foe Zambia 1-0 to earn Zimbabwe a table at the African Nations Championship (Chan) tournament to be hosted by South Africa in January next year.

FC Platinum forward Charles Sibanda scored the priceless goal that decided the contest to hand Zimbabwe a third successive appearance at the tournament.

The Warriors will also play South Africa’s Bafana Bafana in a friendly match on Tuesday in South Africa.
