JAH Prayzah on Sunday went a rang up the ladder when he sampled a new composition titled My Love at Mushandirapamwe Hotel in Highfield, Harare.
The musician was performing alongside another youthful musician Romeo Gasa when he sampled the new album.
At first revellers just stood there listening and watching the dance moves as they failed to search their memories for the song.
But, it was the second time that they all went into a wave-like motion on realising that he was sampling a new song.
According to the manager Filder Muchauraya, the song was composed a week ago.
“Jah Prayzah is immensely talented. He came up with the song one afternoon and everyone was shocked,” Muchauraya said.
“There are many of such songs that are yet to be recorded, but it looks like this one is going to be a hit.”
As if the performance was not enough, the revellers were left spellbound when Peter Moyo made a surprise appearance at the gig.
The trio collaborated on the late Tongai Moyo’s Kurarama Usipo with Gasa playing the bass guitar while the other two were on vocals.
Donning branded Jah Prayzah berets, the musicians left fans spell bound.
Jah Prayzah came on stage at around 5pm just after Gasa’s opening act.
His dancers proved themselves without the group’s popular dancer Jane Chakanetsa, popularly known as Generator after she deserted him last month.
Muchauraya said they were overwhelmed by the way the crowds were supporting their shows.
“It is so encouraging that our shows are being well attended and we want to thank music lovers for that,” Muchauraya said.
She added that the musician’s DVD would be released by end of this month.
