Zimbabwe’s upcoming hip hop musicians will this Sunday perform at an afternoon gig dubbed The Love and Hip hop Show at Lake Chivero near Harare.
The open air show will see over a dozen musicians gathering Fisheagle Bar and Braai, hosted by poet Black Pearl.
Artistes expected to perform are, Mellow Crème, Fungai Nengare, better known as Rand B Crooner, four-time winner of the Zim Hiphop Awards, Synik, and winner of the Starbrite talent competition Brian Kadengu.
Founded by Mellow Crème last year and managed by promoters Musiqlef Entertainment, the Love and Hiphop is held monthly to showcase local musical talent with a special focus on the development of hip hop in the country.
“Zimbabwe needs love, inspiration and a showcase of our urban talent and Love and Hiphop is all about that,” said Mellow Crème.
