ZIMBABWE’S doubles tennis specialist Cara Black and her playing partner New Zealand’s Marina Erakovic are through to the third round of the US Open doubles after a straight set win over American Varvara Lepchenko and Saisai Zheng (China) 6-1 7-6(5) yesterday.

The 13th seeded Black and Earkovic will now face the second seeded Russian pair of Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina in the third round later this week
As a team Erakovic and Black have reached three WTA doubles finals since May as well as the quarters of the French Open and will be confident of doing well at the US Open.
