He has not played this season as the club wanted to register him as a local player to create space for other foreign players.

He has spent five years in South Africa, having moved there in 2007 soon after winning the domestic league title with Highlanders and played for Platinum Stars first before joining Usuthu. He said on his official Twitter account last night: “Just got the biggest news my papers ur (are) out.”

Fellow Zimbabwean Thomas Sweswe is still waiting for his papers to turn for Bidvest Wits in the same league.
