Togara was part of the 13 players that were offloaded by FC Platinum ahead of the 2013 season and is currently unattached to any club.

Some of the players, who were offloaded at the Moneybags as excess baggage are currently doing well at their respective clubs including the likes of Tafadzwa Dube, now plying his trade at Caps United who has managed to earn call-up to represent the country at the ongoing Cosafa Cup.

A close source at the club confided to NewsDay Sport that Togara was inching closer to penning a deal with the Lowveld-based side.

“Yes, we are looking forward to signing Togara, he is a good player. But there are still some issues that need to be finalised. “We have good defenders at the club who can stand the heat, but Togara will beef up the squad,’’ he added.

“We might add one or two players after Togara, but we cannot name them because some of them are still at their respective clubs,’’ he added.

Triangle chairman Lovemore Matikinyidze was not reachable for a comment yesterday. The Lowveld-based side are currently enjoying a purple parch as they have collected 10 points out a possible 12 points and on Sunday they will be hoping to continue with their fine form when they engage How Mine at Gibbo Stadium.
