Striker Simba Manuwere scored the opener in the first half before former Rhinos star Rowen Nenzou put the final nail on the coffin in the second half.

It seems the Eastern Region second tier league has now turned into a one-team race as all the teams within touching distance are losing points willy-nilly.

Since Moses Chunga took over as the club’s technical adviser early this year, the Lowveld-side is yet to taste defeat after 11 matches of the season.

They only dropped two points against former Premiership side Masvingo United after being held to a nil-all draw early in the campaign.

From their opening 11 matches they have collected 31 points. Ruwa United moved to second position with 19 points from the same matches after posting a 1-0 win over Mutare City Rovers at the weekend.

City Rovers are now occupying third position with 18 points from the same matches.
