ZIMBABWEAN representative in the Big Brother Africa house Pokello is out of danger after head of house Bassey used his powers as this week’s leader to save her from possible eviction.

Pokello’s fans can heave a huge sigh of relief because she was initially meant to be up for eviction this week after most housemates put her on the chopping block before Bassey from Sierra Leone decided to remove her name from the list.

As head of Ruby House, Bassey had the power to save and replace any of the nominated housemates.

He replaced Pokello with Botswana’s O’neal on the eviction list. It would be Pokello’s second time to evade eviction after she survived another early exit last week when she got the most country votes.

However, Pokello will spend the whole week thinking she is up for eviction because, according to the rules of the game, Bassey will only reveal his decision during Sunday’s eviction show.

Pokello’s love interest, Elikem (Ghana), Natasha (Malawi) and O’neal are now up for possible eviction from the Ruby House this Sunday.

O’neal almost dodged the bullet this week because the Botswana housemate initially had zero nominations from fellow housemates.

Natasha seems to be unpopular in the house as she is on the eviction list for the third time in a row. The Malawian housemate spent the better part of Monday evening complaining about being nominated by her fellows every week.

“I want to talk about you guys constantly nominating me. I know you guys don’t think I’m a bad person, but you must understand how I feel. I’m not saying I’m special and don’t deserve to be nominated.

However, it’s really disheartening that I’m the only one who has been nominated every week”, Natasha said.

In the Diamond House, head of house Annabel opted to save herself and put Botswana’s Motamma in her place. Hakeem, another Zimbabwean housemate who is resident in the Diamond House, is also safe from eviction this week. Nando (Tanzania), Bolt (Sierra Leone), Betty (Ethiopia), and Motamma (Botswana) are up for possible eviction from the Diamond House.
