Success Academy Zimbabwe, a private college in the community of Hatcliffe Extension, which has been facing a myriad of challenges, on Thursday received a donation from the Sutton Family in England which was facilitated by Miracle Mission.

Speaking at the handover ceremony of the Tutu-desks, Jacqueline Anderson of Miracle Mission organisation said the donation was part of the Desmond Tutu campaign that provides African schoolchildren with portable desks and help impoverished schools that have little or no permanent facilities.

“This is part of the Archibishop Desmond Tutu’s campaign that benefits impoverished community schools in Africa so that they can have a hard surface to write on,” Jacqueline said.

Miracle Mission is a non-profit making Christian organisation based in Harare that networks groups around the country that are working for a worthy cause and facilitates donations for the underprivileged.

“It makes a big difference as it helps them to get their work done than writing on the floor and this is a small initiative that can put smiles on many children and better their education,” she added.

The principal of the college, Laytone Marisa, expressed gratitude and said the donation would improve the education quality for
their students.

“This donation will go a long way in improving the lives of many underprivileged children in the community and will help us in our desire to improve literacy.”

In an interview with one of the students Simbarashe Nyaguwe, who is doing Grade 7, he said the donation came at the right time as they were celebrating the Day of the African Child and promoting the lives of many African students.

“We are celebrating the right to better education as African children and these desks will improve  our education as it improves our performance in class,” Simbarashe said.

Please don’t waste your time talking politics while others are enjoying their lives with money without talking politics. See how this Zimbabwean poor woman became a millionaire just by buying and selling accidented cars. Very interesting idea. Go to (ACCIDENTED CARS.COM) all words together, to see the methods and companies she was using to do that. (ACCIDENTED CARS.COM) all words together, a very simple idea but a very powerful one, Wake up Africans
