UNITED KINGDOM-based urban grooves artist Shayne Ndingindwayo, popularly known as Shayne Ndingz, has taken his music career a step further by collaborating with Jamaican reggae legend Beres Hammond on a track titled No Turning Back.

The track is off Shayne Ndingz’s forthcoming album titled 1984 Volume 1, to be launched on May 31 in Zimbabwe.
“The song is an encouragement of rising in different aspects of life be it music, in relationships and in society as a whole,” Shayne Ndingz said.
Hammond is well known for his romantic lover’s rock, but he also found time to delve into light dancehall and conscious roots reggae.
He has also worked with Buju Banton and Maxi Priest.
He is known for tracks like Dancing Beauty, She Loves Me Now, Tempted To Touch, They Gonna Talk, Sweet Lies and I Feel Good.
Shayne Ndingz’s 11-track album also carries songs like Mawo and Ndinzwisise. Some tracks were produced by Sanii Makhalima, Russo, MacDee and the late TBA ,while three others were done by UK-based producer Labrinth.

Other artistes who featured on the album are Blush from 2BG, Taurai Mandebvu, Jackie Ndove, Diana Samkange, Tamic and Mafriq.
“The album is about the things that made an impact in my life so far, which are love, music and death. It is bout how to deal with such issues when life takes an unexpected turn,” Shayne Ndingz added.
Currently, the Chigutiro Records co-founder, Shayne Ndingz is studying towards a degree in medicine at a university in England where he met Hammond during his tour of that country.
Beres Hammond born Hugh Beresford Hammond on 28 August 1955, Annotto Bay, Saint Mary, Jamaica.
While his career began in the 1970s, he reached his greatest success in the 1990s.
