ZIFA mourn Mabhonzo, Moyo

ZIMBABWE football plunged into mourning on Wednesday following the death of Zifa honorary member Vela Moyo and five-a-side chairman Joseph Mabhonzo.

Zifa chief executive Jonathan Mashingaidze said in his condolence message: “Zifa has learnt with shock of the untimely passing on of honorary Zifa member Moyo and Mabhonzo. On behalf of the board, assembly, staff and the family of football in its entirety and indeed the nation, I convey my deep condolences to the Moyo family on the tragic loss of a veteran football administrator of repute and a patriotic Zimbabwean. Our thoughts are with Ambuya Moyo and Amai Mabhonzo and the whole family and pray that the Lord grants them strength during this difficult moment. Football has been left poorer.”
