AKA will be accompanied by South Africa-based Buffalo Souljah and DJ Zinhle. The show, organised by Aldrian Harrison and Kelvin Kumire will also see local musicians such as Tehn Diamond, Junior Brown, Simba Tags and Crimson Blu among others performing.

Harrison confirmed the trio’s visit to Harare yesterday.

“The show will be the first of this kind and it’s all about merging local and regional talent,” Harrison added.

The festival will also yield collaborations between local and regional musicians, and this will go a long way in promoting local music regionally.

AKA is currently riding high with his singles titled Jealousy and Kontrol.  He won major categories at the South African Music awards and SA Hip-hop awards 2012.

The musician has also featured on MTV Base Brand New Artist show, and has shared the stage with International artistes like Rick Ross, Neyo and Kanye West.
