HARARE — Dynamos striker Washington Pakamisa faces his former paymasters Caps United in a Harare Derby Premiership football match on Saturday.

Deemed excess baggage at United, Pakamisa crossed the great divide earlier this year to join old foes Dynamos where he is enjoying a purple patch.

And with six goals to his name in four matches, Pakamisa would be having a point to prove to Caps United who chased him away after losing trust in his talent.

“I having nothing against Caps United and I will only be doing my job when we play against them,” said Pakamisa.

“I am employed to score goals so I am looking forward to a great game where I hope to do well. As a player your wish is to win things with the team you are playing for.”

Making the derby potentially intriguing is that the two sides are only separated by goal difference with 15 points each as Dynamos are just one place above Caps United in fifth place.

The defending champions have the derby bragging rights for the past four years. Caps last beat Dynamos in 2009. Both teams go into the match under pressure after a slow start to the season where their standings on the log are deemed as unfamiliar for traditional giants.
