Warriors, who were runners up in last year’s edition, will be on a redemption mission following last week’s 19-5 loss at the hands of log leaders Old Georgians (OGs) at home.

Second-placed OHs will be a tough nut to crack for Kumpasa and his charges as the side will be oozing with confidence following the 18-13 triumph over defending champions Harare Sports Club.

Kumpasa said: “It is going to be tough playing against Old Hararians, but we are at home and we will use that to our advantage. Our guys are geared up for the game and hopefully, we will get a win in Saturday’s (tomorrow) game.” Kumpasa said.

The side has been boosted by the return of prop Tapiwa Mangezi who missed last week’s clash due to personal commitments.

“We played well in last week’s game; we lost not because OGs played better than us, but because we made mistakes and we were punished. We were both at a try apiece and they won the game through penalties,” he added.

“We need to get our pride back as we finished in second position in the league last year. We haven’t had the best of starts so far in the league, but we are looking to get back on top,” Kumpasa said.

Old Hararians coach Cyprian Mandenge said his side is going for nothing short of a win against Warriors.

“Warriors played well last year, so we are going to give them the respect they deserve. We will play according to our strength and as a unit because we know that they are going to be a tough team to break down at home and hopefully we will come out with a win,” Mandenge said.

In other matches, Western Panthers take on a winless .

Zvishavane Bulls while struggling Old Miltonians, who are at the foot of the table on zero points, take on Gweru Sports Club.

In Harare, there will be an interesting clash as the defending champions Harare Sports Club, affectionately known as Sportivo, play host to OGs who are undefeated with a 100% winning record so far in their league campaign.
