Maxwell Gisi (37) of Kuwadzana was not asked to plead when he appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Takundwa Witness Mtetwa on Friday.

He was remanded him in custody to May 6 for trial.

The court heard that on April 5 this year Gisi sent two text messages to Desmond Manduna of Hillside.

The messages read, “In God we trust. Tell Desmond that he is fighting a losing battle and he will f*** his mother when we find him for revenge.” On the same day Gisi allegedly sent another message to Darlington Manduna also of Hillside.

“You are proving you can fight Bulawayo. The world is very small and you can be violent. Trust me I will show you good baptism in hell,” read the other message. A report was made to the police and Gisi was traced and arrested.
