Don’t be a weakling

We see some Christians being tossed around by the devil even to the point of death.

Report by Pastor Erasmus Makarimayi

It’s unfortunate that we sometimes live defeated lives when we are supposed to be the winners. Christians are not supposed to be the devil’s punching bags, but the devil should always be crying under your feet. Are you the one who walks out when the devil visits your health, marriage, workplace, ministry, business or country?

When the devil attacks; don’t bow out. Be strong and courageous, don’t be a weakling or a cry baby; stand up for your destiny. When pressure, threats and attacks come; refuse to be crushed under the load. You should make a stand that whatever it takes and however long, let the devil be the loser.

While we rule as sons and daughters of God, sometimes doorways of satanic activity are opened in our lives. Many times it is because of our transgression. Sin gives the devil legal rights for entry into your life.

Evil also comes as a test of your faith and in order to promote you to the next level of your faith walk. Whatever unbearable situation you are in and circumstances you are facing; they are not supposed to be permanent. You should free yourself knowing the truth in 1 John 4:4 that, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

Whatever evil comes to attack and displace you from your promise from God, shake it off and enjoy your peace, health, happiness and all manner of prosperity.

There are people that have been made highways by the devil because they don’t follow God’s advice. Don’t be stubborn and hardhearted thereby creating an avenue for Satan to attack you. Honour God through obedience. Give your offerings, be charitable, pay your tithes and pursue righteousness. Be well fed by reading, studying and meditating on the Word of God. Lead a life of prayer and don’t detest fasting.

There are people that don’t want to be responsible and want life to be served on a silver platter. You have to do what you are obligated to do not just wait to go and cry to the pastor, prophet or counsellor. You know your marriage is hurting, but you hate couples meetings, retreats and marriage seminars. All you want is the apostle to lay his hands on you! If you don’t have acts of charity, don’t give offerings and don’t pay tithes then don’t expect to prosper. Don’t run to the alter call for deliverance; do what you are supposed to do and deliver yourself. God’s grace does not remove the demand for you to be responsible.

The Bible gives keys for victorious living. Don’t despise them, they work. The devil will toss you around if you have no Scripture in your spirit and biblical principles operating in your life. God bemoans and says in Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” Your formula for success is given in Joshua 1:8 which reads, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Strengthen yourself and lead a victorious life through the Word.

You may have been born with an unfortunate background or you sold your blessing for fleshly needs like Esau did to Jacob, God has a way out for you. You have to refuse your adverse situation and circumstances. Be determined to come out from between the rock and that hard place. Genesis 27:40 (Message Bible) says, “You’ll live by your sword, hand-to-mouth, and you’ll serve your brother. But when you can’t take it any more you’ll break loose and run free.” It is up to you to demand that time is up.

Demand today and right now that you will fight for your good and get your promise and inheritance from God. Ecclesiastes 10:5-7 nudges you thus, “There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler: Folly is set in great dignity, and the rich sit in low place. I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth.” Don’t let the devil settle in your life, resist him and he will flee from you. Be strong and courageous, you are going somewhere.
