Inity, who used to play with the Hotter Fyah band, started performing with his new team Red Radicals on Friday last week.

In an interview with NewsDay, his manager Robert Zhuwao said they had found it necessary for Inity to have his own band.

“Mic Inity has been playing with Hotter Fyah who also play with several other artistes.

“We thought it was necessary for him to have his own band as part of the rebranding process.

“The band consists of Adam aka Adamski who plays drums, Ras Shilo is on the bass guitar. On the lead guitar there is Silence, also known as Chidhafu, while Nyasha and Dr Dread are on keyboards,” Zhuwao said.

Backing vocalists include Nadine Brown, Feelem Styles and Long Smith.

The musician, who has done well with his debut album Freedom featuring Jamaican star Lutan Fyah, will release his second entitled Just Reggae My Journey.

“The eight-track album to be released on May 25 at Red Fox Hotel in Greendale, features songs like Raiders of the Arch, Militant, Thank You Jah, War and Violence.

On It A Go Dread, Mic Inity features Guspy Warrior,” Zhuwao added.

He said five of the tracks on the album were recorded in Jamaica while others were recorded in South Africa and Zimbabwe.

“We have five tracks recorded in Jamaica, produced by Caveman Manning, who is Migel ‘Sizzla Kalonji’ Collins’ producer.

“The other tracks were recorded in South Africa and Zimbabwe with me as the executive producer,” Zhuwao said.

Mic Inity has performed at several international concerts sharing the stage with musicians such as Red Rat, Sizzla Kalonji and Popcaan, among others.
