Sahwira Cafe

Harare RASTAKWASA musician Dino Mudondo will perform at Sahwira Café in Mufakose tonight. The musician has been inactive for some months and has begun marketing his upcoming album.

Jazz 105

Mukudzei Mukombe, popularly known as Jah Prayzah, stages a gig at the upmarket joint tonight. The show has been dubbed “Jah Prayzah Farewell Gig” ahead of his tour of the United Kingdom next week.

The musician will launch his new album, Tsviriyo, on the international market during the tour.

Mutomba Night Club

Fresh Crew dance group performs at the Glen Norah joint tonight. Tomorrow, Aggressive dance group takes to the stage while DJ Trizz and DJ Nicky clash at the venue on Sunday.

Dzivaresekwa Stadium

Ragga music lovers are in for a special treat tomorrow when the country’s top dancehall artistes converge in Dzivarasekwa. The show, dubbed “Dancehall Fiesta”, will see Winky D, Freeman, Guspy Warrior and Dadza D squaring up on the stage.

Spillway Pub and Restaurant

Star FM and Power FM DJs will battle it out against top club selectors in a clash that promises to be exciting at the riverside pub. Las Vegas Sports Café.

The Mufakose joint hosts a clash of rhumba musicians termed “The Rhumba Carnival” tonight. Various rhumba groups that include BV Labien Musica, Royal Court, Best of All Musica and Diamond Musica take turns to entertain patrons at the place.

Nyatsime Night Club (Chirungwiza)

Sungura ace Alick Macheso and Orchestra Mberikwazvo tonight perform in the band’s hometown of Chtungwiza. They are set to continue with their 100% Mberikwazo campaign.

Pakare Paye Arts Centre (Norton)

The arts centre will today host a unique act when the famous Bev Sibanda and Sexy Angels take to the stage.

Bev will be supported by fast-rising jazz group Tsvete, which has been hosting some memorable shows at the venue for a long time. Gute Night Club (Chitungwiza)

Tomorrow, Josphat Somanje, Zoey and rhumba outfit BV Labien have a date with Chitungwiza fans at the venue.

Bulawayo Academy of Music Tonight, starting at 7pm, popular comedian, Carl Joshua Ncube presents a set titled Live In Skies. It will be held at the Sibson Hall. Mojo Bar & Lounge

Tonight, All Star DJs present the “Feel Good Friday” show. Tomorrow evening there is the “Saturday Experience”. On Sunday, there is the “Afro-Nite” featuring DJs Mellow T, Kead Wikead and Josh.

Bulawayo Art Gallery

This afternoon, as from 4pm, the Bulawayo Culture Festival kicks off with performances by dance group, Antivirus, Hip Hop Honiez and Top Class. Later in the evening join Kadder, Nashie, Hwabaraty and Djembe Monks. After 7pm, veteran musicians take over featuring, among others, Tanga Pasi and Black Umfolosi.

Large City Hall Tomorrow evening, veteran South African disco musician Dan Tshanda, Matshikoz, Splash and Dalom Kids will be on stage at the venue. Horizon

Tomorrow evening, join DJs Pasee and Gibson for some mature old skool selections at the venue. They feature every Saturday evening. Club 40/40

Dendera musician Sulumani Chimbetu travels to the City of Kings for a show at the club tonight. Tomorrow he returns to Harare to serenade Mabvuku fans at Hunters Night Club.
