The group, which comes to the country for two shows, will also perform at Kebab Centre in Harare on Saturday.

Big Nuz will be the first international artistes to perform in Mutare in many years and the organisers of the show promised to treat revellers to a lot of fun at the show.

The Umlilo hitmakers are rocking the region with their exciting beats and will be out to give their fans in Mutare the best live kwaito feel.

Big Nuz consists of Mandla Maphumulo aka Mampintsha, Mzi Tshomela aka Danger and Sbu Khomo aka R Mashesha.

In an interview with NewsDay yesterday, organisers of the show Sammy Washaya of Zero One One entertainment said Big Nuz was looking forward to rock Mutare.

“Big Nuz will be in Mutare this Friday with local DJs. We are assuring you that this will be a show to remember. Fans should expect only the best,” said Washaya.

“It has been many years since an international artiste set foot in Mutare. We are going to break that drought and I know people are going to like it.”

Pick and Save proprietor Esau Mupfumi, who has managed to bring Mutare on the entertainment map by bringing several top artistes in Zimbabwe to the city over the past few months, said this show marked the beginning of good things to come to Mutare.

“This is the first time to bring an international artistes at our joint and we are expecting them to put Mutare on the map. We are excited that they are going to market our city and this will be the beginning of many good things to come,” said Mupfumi.

Big Nuz was formed 2002 and they have proved their prowess in South Africa and beyond. They will perform along Mutare’s top DJs including Daddy K, DJ Fresh, Ras Blu and Styles.
