WHILE Dynamos Football Club bosses will convene today to take stock of the team’s performance following a spate of draws, coach Kalisto Pasuwa and his technical team are fully aware that their future at the Harare giants hinges on their next two fixtures against Highlanders.

Report by Tawanda Tafirenyika

Pasuwa’s future will come under discussion by the executive this morning, but it is highly unlikely they will pull the trigger at this stage.

In the worst-case scenario they are likely to give the coach a target to meet as was the case last term.

The double championship winner tried to galvanise his squad last week and promised to get rid of rubble yet even after a promising start in the league match against Premiership debutantes Triangle, DeMbare failed to get what would have been a life-saving win for him.

The 0-0 draw against the premiership newboys came on the back of three draws on the trot in the campaign with the league matches against Black Mambas, Chicken Inn and Shabanie all ending square at 1-1.

The club executive had called for a meeting with the coach to take stock of the team’s performance on Thursday last week, but decided to postpone the indaba until the league match against Triangle had been played.

The club bosses yesterday called for a meeting to discuss the performance of the team and the future of the coach.

Dynamos chairman Keni Mubaiwa revealed yesterday they would meet this morning.

“We were supposed to meet last week, but we postponed the meeting. Now we have called for a meeting tomorrow (today) over the performance of the team. A decision will be made after the meeting,” said Mubaiwa.

However, Pasuwa will have to plead with his players to play for him again just like he did last season, if the team is to start producing good results.
