It will be to determine pairings for both the next phase of the African Champions League as well as the African Confederation Cup.
The eight third round winners of the Champions League are to be drawn into two groups for the mini league phase which starts in July.
Orlando Pirates this weekend continue their bid to get to the league phase, for a third time in club history, but must first get past TP Mazembe Englebert of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
If they lose the tie, however, Pirates will drop down to the Confederation Cup along with all the other third round losers in the Champions League.
They will be drawn with the eight winners from the third round of the Confederation Cup, where SuperSport United versus Egypt’s ENPPI is one of the ties.
The draw is usually not televised, unlike the European club competitions, but clubs are asked to send a representative to attend. It is conducted in the auditorium at Caf headquarters outside of Cairo.
