The show attracted a huge crowd who came to witness the internationally acclaimed DJs on the decks on local soil.

Despite being their third visit to the country, the Kenyan outfit led by John Maina — well known as Mc Fullstop — and Elijah Kiboi, popularly known as DJ Juan, did not disappoint as they kept revellers on the dance floor throughout the night.

With Juan on the decks and MC Fullstop on the microphone, the combination was indeed awesome as they kept on dropping some fine tunes from reggae to dancehall.

In an interview, the event organiser Robert Zhuwao hailed Black Supremacy’s performance.

“They have never disappointed everywhere in the world and I am happy that revellers got the treat of their life.

“Moreover, our local DJs have a lot to learn from them and platforms like these are indeed of great importance,” he said.

“We were celebrating Red Fox Family Third Anniversary and I am glad everything went on well.”

The Black Supremacy team, who left the country yesterday, also held shows in Mbare and Kwekwe respectively before the Red Fox show. They were supported by local turntable wizards Robert Zee, Kivo Santana and Desert Fox, among others.

Black Supremacy has taken the world by storm through their reggae mix tapes. The crew includes DJ Simple Simon, DJ Juan, Selekta Raskul, DJ Veekay, DJ Smash, Miss Ebony, Daady Poa and Mc Fullstop.

For the past three years Red Fox pub and grill, situated in Greendale, Harare, has become one of the most popular reggae joints in the capital.

Popularly known as the home of reggae, Red Fox has enjoyed massive popularity growth, thanks to its Jamaican music roots.

In November 2009, Zhuwao announced the place as an arts centre and from then on, the joint has been a venue for internationally acclaimed musicians.

Red Fox has accommodated every Jamaican artiste who has performed in the country, among whom are Elephant Man, King Tata, Sizzla Kalonji, Beenie Man, Mavado and Popcaan, to mention a few.
