Mushaka was handed over the green jacket by former champion Clifford Chimhini after accumulating 59,5 points and for coming top of the Mbada Golf Society Order of Merit in the competition that ran over 17 games.

Rodgers Kamamba finished second on 57,0 points with Kwangwari Kwangwari coming third on 51,83 points.

Kim Hongkee was fourth on 49 points, Eddington Mwamlowe fifth on 47,75 points with football legend “Ebson Sugar” Muguyo sixth on 41,50 points.

It was a good day for Muguyo as he won the champion of champions award.

Female golfer Margaret Vera followed on position seven with 41 points, Wilfred Chinembiri eighth on 38,75 points.

Mufaro Chivonivoni was ninth on 33,0 points with Tino Chivonivoni on position 10 with 29,25 points.

On the last day of the competition, Mushaka did not accumulate any points, but, however, still remained as champion because of his highest points.

Steve Lombard won a prize on the day after playing the least net score. He got 65 on play off handicap 12 after getting a gross of 77.

Norbert Sebastian got a gross of 82 in playoff handicap 14 getting a net score of 68.

Christopher Magosongwe also received a prize after he got a gross score of 90 in playoff handicap 22 to get a net score of 68.

Mufaro was the best gross winner after getting a gross of 77 on playing off handicap four netting 73.

The nearest pin on hole number four was won by Chinembiri, while Vaughn van Rensburg won the nearest pin on hole number seven. The nearest pin on hole number 12 was won by Lombard while Brian Sanangurai won the nearest pin on hole number 17.
