Traveller Bar AMBASSADOR Alick Macheso performs at Traveller in Dzivaresekwa tomorrow night. He continues with the 100% Mberikwazvo concept as he bids farewell to Harare as he heads to the United Kingdom next week.

The Maiden It’s the Freaky Friday yet again tonight at The Maiden with DJs Danny “Godfather”  McKenzie and Simba Smooth.

Westgate Mall Main Fountain Old Mutual celebrates their century tomorrow at Westage Mall. On the reins will be versatile Eyahra Mathazia and Star FM’s DJ Nivek from 4-10pm.

Pamuzinda Highway X-Scape The Bulawayo Road joint tonight hosts host the “Batai Munhu” duet of Sulumani Chimbetu and Jah Prayzah. The venue is on a revival path and the gig tonight appears to be a step in the right direction. Mutangadura Sulumani Chimbetu holds a family show at Mutangadura tomorrow afternoon. The will be joined by Mudhara Weeds and the Seasons Band.

Jazz 105 Jazz 105 diverts from the usual jazz schedule tonight with a gig by Mokoomba. It’s the first time for the group to perform at the venue and it is likely to be one not to miss for the patrons. Andy Millar Hall Tryson Chimbetu tonight hosts the Dr Nero commemoration gig in memory of his late father Naison. The gig will be graced by many artistes that include the hard-to-come-by Dendera United of Sulumani, Tryson, Douglas and Allan, Peter Moyo and Munya Mataruse. The major selling point will probably be the inclusion of the Alick Macheso, who is also on the line-up. With such a combination, this is sure one place to be. Hwenje’s Village It’s the official relaunch of Glen Norah B’s Hwenje’s Village. The bar had closed for renovations and tomorrow Sulumani Chimbetu ushers in the comeback plan. Many other activities are lined up for the night.

Miami Night Club Tomorrow the club hosts Jah Prayzah and Talking Guitars  on Sunday. Gijima Sports Bar It’s the mbira affair with Mbira DzeNharira at Gijima tonight. Tomorrow Emmanuel “Mannex” Motsi takes over for a show in the evening.

City Sports Bar Tonight the “disciplinarian” Sniper Storm hopes to straighten up Crazy Boys at City Sports Bar. On Sunday Royal Court La Music dates Banyana Bafana at the same venue.

Holly’s Hotel Shinsoman performs at Holly’s tomorrow. Dandaro Cheviot The bar hosts fired-up rhumba outfit Royal Court La Musica tonight. Jongwe Corner (Domboshava) Comic dancer Apama takes his act to Domboshava tonight. On Saturday he performs at Dandaro Cheviot in Waterfalls before he rounds up the weekend at Barca Sports Bar along Jason Moyo.

BULAWAYO Mojo Bar & Lounge (BAC) All Star DJs present the “Feel Good Friday” show tonight. Tomorrow evening, there is the “Saturday Experience”. On Sunday, there is the “Afro Nite” show. All shows start at 6pm. Bulawayo Art Gallery The annual Zimbabwe International Book Fair Bulawayo edition kicks off today at the venue. It will also be held there tomorrow. On Wednesday at 5.30pm, there will be a launch of an exhibition titled Woven Lines 11 by Hlonipani “Hlonz Dee” Dube. Alliance Francaise de Bulawayo The Francophonie Week comes to a close tomorrow with a French music performance by Patrick Lupi at the venue. The show starts at 4 pm. Amakhosi Cultural Centre On Monday at 4 pm there will be the premiere of a play by Louis Mhlanga titled Who is Wise featuring Iyasa dance group. It comes as part of Inxusa Theatre Day celebrations.
