The group confirmed in a 10 seconds video clip that they are scheduled to perform at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) on March 28.

The group is one of South Africa’s most popular bands in the country. Tour manager Tenny T said the group was excited about the tour. “The guys are really excited and they can’t wait since this will be their first time in Harare,” said Tenny T.

“They have promised Harare the best gig ever and the fans might even get a taste of their upcoming album.”

He said Durban’s DJ Ntombi will be part of the travelling party as she will be the official tour’s DJ.

May 7 Entertainment director Max Mugaba yesterday told NewsDay that all preparations were on course.

“We are almost done with all logistical arrangements which include the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority and the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe,” said Mugaba.

“I am sure by next week we will be able to divulge more on their travel arrangements and other details as we head for the final stretch.”

Mugaba also took the opportunity to dispel rumours of his affair with South African singer Zahara after the publication of the duo’s pictures.

He said he was not worried about the public perception and would go ahead with business as usual.

“Zahara and I are very good friends,” he said.

“Yes the pictures look cosy, but ours is just a good friendship. People say all kinds of things, but you can never stop them once they start talking.”
