Kazani rose to fame as one of the country’s most talked about local comedians, playing supporting roles in series such as NdiGringo Chete, Vana Avo, Zuku, Togara Sei, Toita Sei and more recently, Akanga Nyimo Avangarara.

His six-track debut album is a fusion of pansula and African traditional music put together in a comical way, but sending positive messages to listeners.

“I composed every track and although it is all comedy, I have a positive message on good morals and conduct,” Kazani said.

He said although a lot of people did not take him seriously because of his usual comic roles in local dramas, his latest album had serious messages that people ought to give an ear to.

“The album was inspired by my day-to-day life experiences and the people who I come across in life, mainly hypocrites who indulge in immorality,” he said.

Kazani said his penetration into the music industry did not mean dropping his acting career, but he believed that the two combined well since they were both art.

“I have so far had live performances in Chinhoyi and Harare during the David Karimanzira Memorial Gala and I will soon be performing out in other towns and cities nationwide,” added Kazani.

He said comedy lovers could expect fireworks from his latest offering and more drama series.
