The two recently joined their talents in Dizzy Don’s latest video single, Wapamutima (Wepamoyo), a love song. The video was shot in Malawi.
Wapamutima is the first single and video to be released from Dizzy Don’s latest album titled The Map(s) which will be released in a few months’ time.
“From the single through to the rest of the album, I will be mapping hip-hop music in Zimbabwe, doing hip-hop music with a Zimbabwean and African identity,” he said.
Dizzy Don added that after consulting various people, including top producers, he decided to collaborate with Lufani, whose music carries some African cultural beat.
He said his music would this year take Zimbabwe to other hip-hop levels, a journey that has seen him travelling to Botswana, South Africa and Malawi to fulfil his dream collaborating with artistes from these countries.
“People can this year expect fireworks in my new offering which featured Botswana’s Liffy Jones, South Africa’s rapper Numi and singer Sound of the South (SOS), together with other local talents such as Godobori, Trick T, Ba Shupi and Junior Brown,” Dizzy Don said.
The new album will include messages about love and relationships. Songs to look out for are, Tiripo featuring controversial rapper Alishias Musimbe aka Maskiri, Do it Again and Before You Go.
