Sithole, who returned to South Africa for a second spell after being signed by Mamelodi Sundowns a few years ago, is being touted as the answer to SuperSport’s goalscoring problems along with Bradley Grobler, who was signed from Ajax Cape Town recently.

After 16 league games, SuperSport are eighth on the log with 20 points, but they have only scored 19 goals.

In a chat with KickOff.com, SuperSport coach Gavin Hunt said he was happy to have Sithole.

“His papers are almost sorted out and he should be available for selection against Orlando Pirates on Wednesday (tomorrow). He is a useful striker with an eye for goal and hopefully he will make a big difference for us up-front,” Hunt told KickOff.com.

The 22-year-old Sithole was previously on the books of Shooting Stars, Caps United, Sundowns and Dynamos. SuperSport jet off to the Democratic Republic of Congo on Thursday for their Caf Confederation Cup assignment against Don Bosco.
