Showbiz reported on her baby bump early last month, but the dance queen would not confirm the development then. She has since confirmed she will not be part of the Macheso upcoming show because “I will be seven months (pregnant) in April”.

Slizer and her South African hubby was Bosi Moshupi are expecting their first child together after tying the knot last year.

Macheso is billed to perform in Francistown on April 25 and in Gaborone the following day.The last time he was in Botswana, he shared the stage with Slizer in the same cities.

“I’ll see Macheso in August in Zimbabwe, we have a show that we will do together, but I will miss the April one,” said Slizer.

While on a hiatus because of the pregnancy, the go-getting artiste is busy writing songs for her next album. She is still revelling in the glory that came along with her high-quality DVD for the album Diwewewe. It was estimated to have cost her 100 000 pula.

She now aims to surpass that standard in the next offering. Slizer has slowed down on her music since tying the knot. In December, she chose to spend time with her husband.

The two lovebirds first met in Johannesburg. Her hubby is a bodyguard for a South African business tycoon who owns a chain of hotels.

Slizer is already a mother to 10-year-old son, Bibo, who also has an album under his belt. She revealed her son was now eager to release a hip-hop album.“He tells me he now wants to do hip-hop. Perhaps it is the influence from his friends as he grows up,” she said.
