Kick-Off Bucs played Matsatsantsa three times in August last year. They were beaten 3-0 in the semi-final of the MTN8 Cup, after a 0-0 draw in the first leg, and their League encounter also ended goalless.

“The match against SuperSport United will be an interesting affair,” Klate told Pirates’ official website.

“We have played them three times already this season and we have failed to win a match. Having played at the club before, I know that United are a very difficult team to beat because of how the team is able to adapt or change its playing style according to the opposition they face.

“We must stick to our own game-plan and hopefully we can collect three points after the match. It’s obviously going to be a tight match, but I believe we have enough in our arsenal to defeat them in our backyard.”

Bucs are currently second on the Premiership log, a point behind Kaizer Chiefs, with 14 matches to go in the season Absa Premiership matches today: Pretoria University vs Golden Arrows, Pirates vs SuperSport United, Ajax Cape Town vs Moroka Swallows, Platinum Stars vs Bloemfontein Celtic — Kick-Off
