The energetic musician’s new song titled Tsviriyo has brought a new dimension to an industry that has become known for feuds.

He encourages other artistes to work together and serve their fans in their various capacities.

He sings about how musicians should admit that fans have different tastes for music and desist from unnecessary competition.

When Jah Prayzah played the song at a recent show, the crowd went beserk and sang along to his exciting lyrics.

He mentions Oliver Mtukudzi, Alick Macheso, Kapfupi, Sulumani Chimbetu, Peter Moyo and Charles Charamba as fellow musicians that have a mandate to entertain fans.

“Some fans got to Tuku’s show to enjoy katekwe music while Sulumani is entertaining people with his dendera. Others are going to Macheso’s shows for the zora butter dance, Kapfupi is making his comic moves on stage and Moyo is keeping up with his toita basa slogan while Pastor Charamba sings about blessings,” go the lyrics in part.

The musician said he did the song to show that unity is important among local musicians.

r and prove that they are one family. I believe in unity and that is why I came up with this song,” said Jah Prayzah.

“Every musician has unique followers because of our varying talents. I believe we all have mandates to entertain our fans. It does not help to fight among ourselves. I will be playing this song at all my shows until I release it with my next album, which is due next month.”

Jah Prayzah has become one of the most sought after musicians on the local terrain because of his unique style.

He has performed with most of the big names in the country before becoming his own man. He now independently stages shows in many parts of the country and tomorrow he travels to Mutare for a show at Pick ‘n’ Save.

He promised to play more new songs at the show.

“I will play most of my upcoming songs at the Mutare show. I have performed at the venue before and I enjoy the support that I get in Manicaland. This will be my chance to entertain my loyal fans from that province with new material. I owe them a lot and I will do my best to reciprocate their support.”
