AFTER getting serious vocal lessons from Pastor Charles Charamba and various music producers, Peter Moyo says he will now try out recording.

The Young Igwe will be recording a duet with another rising star Romeo Gasa at the end of this month.
The musician told NewsDay that he wanted to check his progress by recording a song that will be released next month.
“I have decided to check my progress in the studio and I have always been admiring the way Gasa plays his bass guitar and I thought of roping him on a song.”
He said he was happy with the progress that has been made in preparing the song.
“Most stages have been covered and the song is taking shape. We are now finalising some of the lyrics and we are confident we have put enough effort to give our fans an excellent song,” said Moyo.
He said after putting final touches on the song he would start sampling it at live shows that he would be holding with Gasa. Gasa said he was happy to have a duet with Peter.

“It is always good for us as young artistes to work together and I am sure the song will be good,” said Gasa.
Pressure has been mounting on the young musician to release an album more than a year after he took over from his late father.
“It would have been a good thing for the album to coincide with the memorial ceremony, but my plan went off the rails when my producer told me that I still had to refine my voice,” he said.
The yet-to-be-named song will be recorded at Diamond Studios.
