Tuskers, the defending Logan Cup champions, will be seeking to change their fortunes in the shorter version of the game as they currently lie at the bottom of the T20 log table with a single win from five games.

In the Pro50 championship table standings, Tuskers are currently in third place after five games, having recorded three victories and two defeats in their campaign.

Tuskers coach Heath Streak told NewsDay Sport that all his players were in camp in preparation for the games this week. “We started training yesterday (Wednesday) all day and we will continue until Friday (today).

“The players had a two-week break over the festive season, but they were conducting their own training sessions to keep fit,” said Streak

“All the players will be available for games this weekend as there are no injury concerns.

“We are not having any new players that we will be introducing to the squad at the moment. We are sticking to the squad from last season.”

However, Mountaineers managed a 30-run win over Tuskers in the T20 match.
