Tamborinyoka readmitted

PRIME Minister Morgan Tsvangirai’s spokesperson Luke Tamborinyoka was on Monday last week readmitted to a private Harare clinic, a week after his release, with close family members saying he had developed a minor medical complication.

He was readmitted last Monday after doctors realised that he was still in need of medical attention.

A close family friend Kudakwashe Matibiri said Tamborinyoka was readmitted after doctors requested to examine him further.

“Luke was released on Sunday last week and went home and was due for a check-up on Monday. An X-ray was performed and it was discovered that there was air trapped in his lungs. He is now back in the clinic but other than, that he is in good shape,” Matibiri said.

“Doctors discovered that there was undesirable air, but he is eating and moving up and down the clinic.”

Tamborinyoka was involved in a near-fatal car crash last month, after his vehicle burst a rear tyre and rolled several times, on his way to his rural home in Domboshawa.

  1. Get well! Get back to work, you are missed by many even those who do not support your party. You are a gifted PR man and our young students were learning a lot from how you handled communications at the PM’s office.Non combative but gifted with a good turn of phrase. If only your colleagues would take a leaf from you, that PR is meant to make communication smooth between players not those who worsen the flow by unnecessary combativeness, more like BULLS in a china shop! Come on young man pull from deeper down, we know you can do it!!!!
