The striker has been linked in the media to both Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns in the new year. Musona has not enjoyed his best form since moving to 1899 Hoffenheim in July 2011.

The Zimbabwean international was later loaned to another Bundesliga team, FC Augsburg, where he is yet to score a goal. In a chat with KickOff.com, Makaab said Musona will remain in Germany.

“Certainly not,” said Makaab over the rumours.

“He is staying with his current team in Germany.”

Meanwhile, Ian Palmer could be heading for the exit door at Black Leopards following allegations that he has continuously mistreated players at the club since taking over as head coach.

Palmer, who joined “Lidoda Duvha” at the end of October, has allegedly gone as far as swearing at players during training.

“He swears at us all the time and at one time he kicked a cooler bag while addressing us in the dressing room. The chairman (David Thidiela) and technical director (Sunday Chidzambwa) were also present when it happened,” a Leopards player, who asked to remain anonymous, revealed to KickOff.com.

Chidzambwa is former Zimbabwe coach. Another Warriors player Brian Abbas Amidu turns out for Leopards.

“There are players he wants to chase away, so since he arrived there is some sort of unrest in the team and we don’t know what’s going on,” he added.

Since Palmer arrived — on a contract that runs until the end of the season — Leopards have won two matches, suffered four losses and drawn once in seven League matches. The Limpopo side is now in 12th position.

Leopards brand manager chief Thidiela said management will leave no stone unturned as they are going to quiz Palmer over the allegations.

“Management has since written a letter to him to explain the reasons for his actions and behavior,” he confirmed. Palmer could not be reached for comment.
