ALL is set for the GTEL Face of Zimbabwe beauty contest to be held tonight at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC).

Over 15 models drawn from different parts of the country and the Diaspora will strut their stuff on the ramp.
The models include Natasha Leigh Rionda (20), Yolanda Roberts (24), Aisha Chantelle de Beer, Lethukuthula Sibanda (21), Sarah Eve Van de Ruit (23) and Cheidza Mukucha (21).
Yeukai Eve Goremusandu (21), Melissa Moyo (19), Bianca Mpopoma (21), Victoria Chidarikire (19), Nadine Hahn (19) and Tiyana Sardia Fernoughty (18) are part of the line-up of contestants that were monthly winners of the online pageant this year.
Models from national pageants have been included in the line up as “wildcards” to spice up the event.
The contestants are Miss Curvy 2012 Tanya Chikuni, reigning Miss Southern Africa Letwin Tiwaringe, Sheena Siyamfinya (Miss Photogenic at Miss Universities 2012), Miss Global First Princess Jacqueline Ngarande, Shamiso Chifokoyo, Cynthia Qongo and Thabelo Masoha.
Local artistes Ammara Brown, Nox, Sulumani Chimbetu, CeeJay Besa, Stunner and Ex Q are expected to entertain guests at the event.

The contest will be held under the theme “Embracing technology in celebrating Zimbabwe’s Beauty”.
The contestants were selected based on public voting which was moderated by some highly-experienced judges.
The pageant, which is run by Face of Zimbabwe Trust and sponsored by G Telecoms, seeks to promote Zimbabweans’ beauty internationally, while raising funds for a charity project called My Brother’s Keeper.
Face of Zimbabwe Trust marketing director Mike Tashaya said the pageant had established itself as an exciting and relevant competition, making a positive impact internationally and raising significant sums of money for charitable causes in Zimbabwe.
“The pageant has been highly successful in capturing the beauty of Zimbabweans of all colours scattered all over the world, showcasing the country’s many beautiful faces while drawing attention to the tourist destinations,” he said.
The competition has so far fielded entries from Zimbabweans in more than 20 countries including Turkey, Dubai, China, Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States, Botswana, Malawi, Cyprus and Russia, among others.
Tickets to the show can be purchased at the HICC and all GTEL shops.
Prizes to be revealed tonight
PRIZES for the five winners, GTEL Face of Zimbabwe, her two runners up, People’s Choice and Miss Legs will only be revealed tonight as organisers of the show want it to be a surprise for the contestants.
