The Gishon Ntini-coached side have 67 points from 26 matches and their nearest rivals Hippo Valley failed to utilise home advantage after they were held to a one-all draw by Mutare City Rovers on the same day at Chishamiso Stadium.

Hippo now have 63 points from 27 matches. If Triangle collect maximum points in their next matches against Chivhu Stars away and Mutare City Rovers at Gibbo, then they will be crowned champions. And their gaffer Ntini believes that they need to concentrate in their remaining fixtures.

“We need to focus on our remaining matches. We have a game in hand, so that is another advantage for us. This is the time for us to make history and the guys are aware of that. We have experienced players who have seen it before and I don’t think we are going to falter at the last moment,” said Ntini.
