He will stage two concerts in Milton Keynes and Manchester. He will share the stage with a number of local musicians in a tour dubbed “Love Out Loud”.

Other artistes set to perform at this two-day concert include UK-based diva Jane Doka, Obert Mazivisa and Emily Changa among others. Speaking to NewsDay yesterday, Mutandwa said the tour was a major breakthrough in his musical career.

“This is indeed a major breakthrough since I ventured into gospel music. It gives me an opportunity to grow as an artist and to spread the gospel of Christ through hip-hop music,” he said.

“The concerts are meant to raise funds to help the needy.”

The musician made headlines last year when he crossed from secular to gospel music after claiming that he had been called to minister the Word of God through music.

He has performed in countries like Botswana and South Africa since his “repentance”.

The 26-year-old singer is riding high with nine-track album Magnet which carries the hit song Ndaita Mari.

Recently, he released a single titled Major dedicated to the popular Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa.

He was a member of Tabernacle of Grace Church headed by Apostle Java, before leaving to join Spirit Embassy.

Before turning to gospel music, Mutandwa rose to fame in 2008 after releasing a stunning video of the song Hustler. However, his history in the industry dates back to 2005 when he released Girl You Got to Know, a response to Portia Njazi’s Boy You Got To Know.
